Sheets for a newborn – what type?
Hello! We are due in December and lives in Minnesota, so it will be a cold December. This is our first, and we are a bit overwhelmed – in a good way! We are just now getting registered for everything, but we're a bit confused about what type of discs to get. There are cotton / organic / flannel / jersey blends … is a form of slabs, which are better than others for newborns? Anything we should stay away from? In advance thanks!
Just get regular type sheets. The child will already be in a sleeper and will probably be wrapped in a blanket. You do not have to worry about plates. Whatever you get will be fine. You probably do not want them flannel or something that keeps the baby too hot. Both my kids hated to be hot, especially winter. They were in a normal swaddle receiving blanket in their sleeping compartments and it was good enough for them. You do not want to overheat the baby. Go for the cheap them! Good luck and congrats!
